Roman Blind - This class last 6 hours and by the end you will have a finished blind! A materials list will be sent upon booking.

Curtain Class - This 5 hour class takes you through the 2 main types of curtain(eyelet and pencil pleat). We will make 2 little mock curtains in class. You’ll learn u how to insert a professional lining and how to work with the different header tapes. We’ve crammed loads of learning outcomes into one day so you can leave the class feeling like a curtain expert! You’ll be dying to get home and get making the real deal! Top 3 Roman Blind and Curtain Class FAQs

Q. Can I make a real curtain in the class instead of mock curtains?
A. The reason we don’t do full sized curtains in the class is because a lot of curtain making involves measuring and sewing in straight lines(time consuming straight lines) so we’d rather teach you lots of different techniques in the one day so you can go away and use them all to make your own curtains at home. If you would like to make real curtains we can do this with you on a private tuition basis, just drop us an email! hello@sewconfident.co.uk

Q. What kind of fabric should I buy for the roman blind?
A. You’ll need a standard curtain lining and the outer fabric can be any non stretch upholstery fabric. If you buy from a shop you should be able to chat it through with the staff, if you’re buying online you can give us a shout! hello@sewconfident.co.uk

Q. Why does my blind have to be 142cm or less?
A. This is because this is the maximum sized blind you can have without using more than one width of fabric, so basically it’s much easier when you are just learning to make a smaller blind, trust us!
