The Janome M200QDC sewing machine is a fantastic machine! If you’ve joined any of our online classes you might have noticed that this is the machine Jenny uses! The Janome M200QDC can handle anything you throw at it, it’s solid construction, powerful motor and self cooling motor means it can really handle anything including bulky quilts, curtains, coats and more! So if you like to sew a bit of everything, the M200QDC is for you!
With an extension table as standard, 200 stitches and a bonus quilting kit we could see quilters loving this machine. The Janome M200QDC sewing machine also has the full range of computerised buttons (not all computerised machines have these!) It includes a stop/start button, lock stitch button, thread cutter (life changer!) and a needle up/down button too!
Who is it good for?
The Janome M200QDC is perfect for all sew-ers but we’d really recommend it for quilters! It comes with a full Quilting kit including an extension table. The feet included in the kit mean you’d never need to buy more! It also has 200 stitches and an alphabet perfect for adding that finishing touch to your gorgeous quilts! Don’t discard the M200QDc if you’re a dressmaker though as it has TWELVE, yes twelve buttonholes!
Who is it not so good for?
If you like to quilt really big quilts and you’re looking for a bigger workspace check out the Atelier Series including the Atelier 3. They have large arm space perfect for all those big quilts! Also if you’re a beginner, the M200QDC might seem a little daunting! Why not have a look at the Janome 740DC its a computerised machine with a very powerful motor but a little simpler to use!
